Yellow fungus first coined by professor(dr)BRAJPAL SINGH TYAGI.this fungus is known as mucor septicus .Usually found in reptiles but due to less immunity it was found in Human. histopathologic ally it is full of hemosiderin & this gives yellow colour to fungus.
As name suggest it gives sepsis to patient & patient presented with high grade fever ,yellow nasal discharge ,extreme fatigue & all the signs & symtoms of sepsis .
The only treatment is multiple debridement & injection amphoteracin b 7 mg per kg body weight till full recovery.
