Eating at least two fast food meals every day and restricting levels of physical activity to no more than 5,000 steps can significantly increase the risk of weight gain, insulin resistance, liver damage, and metabolic syndrome. This sedentary lifestyle, combined with high-fat, high-sugar meals, leads to the accumulation of fat in the liver and other organs, raising the chances of developing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and other chronic health conditions. Long-term effects also include increased risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and obesity-related complications.
